Rollingwood neighbors gathered at La Ferme restaurant for a happy hour on April 14, 2024. Over sixty people attended and were given a free drink and a raffle ticket for a $100 gift certificate donated by La Ferme and our wonderful neighbor, Alain Roussel. Good friends and new neighbors gathered around a beautiful antipasto tray overflowing with fresh vegetables, cheese and La Ferme's delicious fresh bread.

With the summer of COVID19 humming along in the odd way that it is, I’ve found myself with a greater than usual thirst for the arts. The problem is that, for the most part, I have only been able to fill my cultural cup through online galleries, music and my own personal endeavors in painting and photography. As fulfilling as this can be, it doesn’t quite sate the soul like a good live show.

The Chevy Chase Lake sector plan mandated burying of wires to allow planting large shade trees however the planning board in 2017 gave a developer a waiver of burying the wires. The planning board can correct this oversight on July 23rd when the developer comes back for approval of some tweaks but your involvement is needed.

The letter contains additional research and information that counters some of what the Stables has shared with the park service.
